Spider Lifts

Often generically referred to as a "Spider Lift" due to the visual shape of the integrated Stabilisers, or outriggers, resembling spiders legs, its slim proportions combined with its "tracked" chassis, means a Tracked Access Platform can work in areas historically inaccessible to other "conventional" cherry pickers.

The extending "spider leg" stabiliser design enables the machine to be stowed to a very slim, compact unit and also facilitates completely secure, safe and stable levelling on uneven, rutted, rugged, water logged terrain as well as polished, slippery, greasy, wet and even steeply sloping surfaces.

Furthermore, modern architecture and floor designs dictate that typical pedestrian floor loadings do not exceed 5kN/m². Incorporating a "tracked" chassis, which efficiently spreads the load of the machine across a larger area than traditional wheeled chassis, substantially reduces the ground bearing pressure ensuring a Tracked Access Platform machine generally generates surface loadings well below this figure.

These "unique" physical attributes make a high performance Tracked Access Platform the ideal solution for Architects, Shopping Centres, Retail Outlets, Heritage Sites such as Churches, Cathedrals, Abbeys and Stately Homes, as well Museums, Galleries, Theatres, Arenas, Leisure Centres, Sports Stadia, Healthcare and Educational facilities, indeed virtually any non-standard unusual, quirky idiosyncratic, restricted access commercial and residential buildings and indoor or outdoor locations, where frequent working at height is imperative for routine cleaning, inspection, maintenance or emergency repair, replacement or restoration.
